Although the original color is not currently on the vehicle, the sports car is time capsule holding many possibilities for the new buyer. The seller is offering this vehicle in its current state. 1969 JAGUAR SERIES II: Offered at public auction is perhaps one of the finest and most desirable European sports cars ever sold in the 85 year history of Houser Auctioneers. This show winning 1969 JAGUAR E SERIES TYPE II is an early 1969 model and is a testament to the care and maintenance of its current owner. Purchased from the dealership in 1972, this car has never been titled outside of its current owner and as a testament to the owner, has never gone over 60mph. With nearly every maintenance action documented and every show award available, this vehicle was literally a member of the family. The Jaguar features:
1) The original 4.2L (enamel still on the headers)
2) VIN 1R8159
3) Engine 7R1787-9

This time capsule of European engineering has been kept in a climate-controlled garage since being purchased in 1972. The vehicle saw its last show in 2013 and was then prepared for long term storage. The vehicle is complete and outstanding in every respect as is shown from the many awards and documented score cards. There are no reports or evidence of any body damage. At one time there was a correct luggage rack on the rear deck but that was removed. (The owner consistently lost points for said rack so he removed it and re-touched the paint in the early 80’s) All other parts of the vehicle appear original and correct with the exception of a vintage 8 track player installed in the back seat. The seller is offering this vehicle in its current state with reserve. The vehicle and records are available for inspection on the open house date of April 19 from 1-3 PM or by appointment. Call Jason at 484-550-8593 for more information.
